Even in today's high-tech society, your new home is being built by hand. William Lyon Homes works with builder partners who are highly skilled craftsmen and during the construction of your new home, you'll have a chance to see first-hand the pride they take in their work.

You'll no doubt want to visit the construction site of your new home a time or two and watch its progress on The Lyon's Path from framing and drywall to the installation of cabinets and countertops.
For your safety, any time you visit your home site you must be accompanied by a William Lyon representative. You'll need to wear a hard hat, hard shoes and sign a construction waiver in the sales office. To schedule a site visit appointment, just call the sales office at least 48 hours in advance so we can arrange for someone to accompany you.

There are two points in the construction process that will require your first-hand participation: the frame walk and the New Home Orientation (the final walk-through). We'll contact you to arrange an appointment for both.
The Frame Walk
Your new home has developed beyond the floor plan concept. It has a strong foundation and the framers have created the basic structure that dictates the rest of the construction process. The Frame Walk lets you get to know your new home from the inside out and gain a more sophisticated understanding of how your new home is being built.
The Orientation
During the last two weeks of construction, until the flooring installation is completed, your home is off limits for safety and liability reasons. After the flooring is installed, we'll ask you to join us for your New Home Orientation. This allows you to get acquainted with the interior and exterior features of your new home. All that's left are the finishing touches.
